A world-class center for innovation that helps Syklea build a new lab and technology in North America

SYKLEA is happy to say that it has formed a strategic partnership with CIC Philadelphia, which is one of the best life-science and innovation campuses in the US. CIC is in the middle of University City and has cutting-edge research facilities. It also has a vibrant community of scientists, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders who are shaping the future of biotechnology and climate innovation.

This partnership is a big step forward for our growth in the U.S. CIC Philadelphia will help us set up our first American lab in New Jersey, where we will speed up the growth of new microalgae strains and improve our CO₂ valorization technologies, such as our patented No Water Technology™.

The partnership also makes it possible for researchers, startups, and institutions working on next-generation solutions for carbon utilization, bio-based materials, and industrial decarbonization to work together at a higher level.

We are very grateful to Brandi Burgess, Margaret Clark, Grace Chun, and the whole CIC team for their help and warm welcome. Their knowledge and involvement make the perfect setting for SYKLEA to speed up its U.S. deployment and expand our technologies to new industrial uses.

Anne-Hélène Prime, Dr. Pierre Calleja, Gérard Canal, Frédérique Grassian, Mélanie Nehlich, Paul-Alexandre Jones, and Samuel Trémouille made up SYKLEA’s delegation. They were all very happy with the great conditions and teamwork at this world-class innovation hub.

This partnership helps us achieve our goal in North America: turning CO₂ into something useful through sustainable biotechnology based on microalgae.
