A cross-continental dialogue on sustainable innovation, ocean protection, and the future of bio-based technologies

Thank you to Maider Arostéguy, in collaboration with Pierre Erwes and the BioMarine network, for hosting the China–France Blue Economy Cooperation Workshop in Paris.

SYKLEA was honored to present its technology during this event, which brought together representatives from Biarritz, Xiamen, and leading organizations committed to sustainable innovation, climate resilience, and ocean protection.

Our contribution highlighted how microalgae biotechnology and our patented No Water Technology™ can support the blue economy by transforming CO₂ into valuable bio-based molecules while reducing industrial emissions.

The workshop also marked a key moment with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the cities of Biarritz and Xiamen, opening the door to new collaborations across research, sustainable development, and ocean conservation.

We are excited to contribute to this developing partnership and to support future initiatives focused on marine ecosystems, low-carbon technologies, and the emergence of new bio-based industrial models.

Congratulations to all participants for fostering such a forward-thinking and collaborative environment.
