A week of new ideas, working together, and building on each other’s progress for the future of carbon valorization

The Syklea team went to the Carbon Capture Technology World Expo in Hamburg last week. This is one of the biggest events in Europe focused on finding new ways to use CO₂ and reduce carbon emissions in industry.

This year’s event brought together hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of participants from the energy, chemicals, cement, engineering, and climate-tech industries. It was a great chance for us to show off our newest technological advances, talk about our recent successes, and reconnect with clients and partners from all over Europe.

Showing off Syklea’s newest improvements

During the event, our team talked about important progress on:

our biological CO₂ valorization platform,

new improvements to our patented No Water Technology™,

and progress in using microalgae to turn CO₂ into fuel.

These talks confirmed a clear trend in the industry: the shift from carbon capture to carbon use is speeding up. Companies are looking for more ways to turn emissions into useful products instead of just storing them.

Welcoming our new Process Engineer

We also reached an important internal milestone in Hamburg when Samuel Trémouille joined Syklea as a Process Engineer.
He started his first week at the heart of the expo, then went with part of the team to the United States for a big project that is now being put into action.

A strong European ecosystem is in motion.

Meeting with partners, reconnecting with long-time collaborators, and working with new businesses all strengthened a shared belief: Europe is moving quickly toward a circular carbon economy, where CO₂ becomes a key resource for making fuels, molecules, and sustainable materials.

A group of people moving forward

Thanks to all the visitors, partners, clients, and researchers who stopped by to talk to us.
The energy exchanged in Hamburg showed how important working together, doing great research, and having big goals in business are for changing the way we manage carbon in the future.

❤️ Thanks for a useful and inspiring edition.
We hope to keep this momentum going at future international events.
